In Collaboration with UCLA's Economics Department, our student-run organization strives to actively connect students with faculty for academic and professional opportunities

OUR MISSION

The Undergraduate Economics Society (UES) is a group dedicated to fostering an interest in economics as an academic subject to the wider student body and the establishment of closer ties between students and faculty within UCLA’s Economics Department. Founded in 2010, the organization draws passionate undergraduate students in their goals to uncover unique applications of economic thought. All students interested in economics are welcome to be a part of UES and become a part of the discussion about the vast and interesting field of economics!

WHAT WE DO

We organize events related to economics for the general student body, such as seminars by Ph.Ds. and more. We also host educational programs like coding bootcamps for lower division economics courses.

Business Morning

We publish student op-eds, articles, research, and interviews through our online Bruin Economics Journal.
